Privacy Policy
CloudRider is a free browser game in which you glide a paraglider through high mountain passes. This policy explains what data floats up when you play.
1. Information We Collect
Like thin mountain air, we keep our data footprint light. We may receive:
- Standard HTTP metadata your browser sends with any request — IP address, browser name, OS, and referring URL.
- Your personal altitude record (best score), kept only in your browser's local storage and never uploaded anywhere.
- Anonymous aggregate flight counts that cannot be linked to any individual glider.
2. How We Use Information
We use data only to keep the thermals stable (i.e. the game running), fix bugs, and understand how high players soar. No ads, no profiling, no selling.
3. Local Storage
Your record altitude is stored in local browser storage only. It disappears if you clear browser data, and we hold no backup copy.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts are served by Google Fonts via a standard browser request. No other external parties receive your data.
5. Children's Privacy
CloudRider contains no violence, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The paraglider simply comes in for a landing when a peak is reached. Suitable for all ages. We do not collect data from children under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server log files, if any, are kept for a limited operational period and then deleted. Locally stored gameplay data is on your device only and subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Because we collect minimal data, fulfilling such requests may have limited scope in practice.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect any data we handle. No internet transmission method is fully secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We revise this policy by updating the date above. Continuing to fly after an update means you accept the new version.
